Integration of Production Line into Control System & MES
By connecting the production processes deep drawing with vision control, sealing and packaging of line 14 with the control types Siemens S7, Siemens SIMOTION and TwinCAT to the control system and MES with AVEVA system platform and integration to the SCADA system, the monitoring and control of the production processes could be optimized. The result was an increase in efficiency.
Standards for Efficient Manufacturing Processes
OMAC standardization optimizes the integration of machines into the control system and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems). Uniform standards enable efficient and cost-effective implementation of MES systems, resulting in higher productivity and quality. Our implementation of OMAC standardization shows that harmonization of machines and MES systems can be improved through uniform standards.
Customer Support for Software Evaluation
After the MES specifications were drawn up, the customer was supported in the evaluation of the MES system. During the evaluation, all potential suppliers were invited to separate preliminary discussions, hearings and demonstrations of their software package. The evaluation decision was made by the customer.
Requirements Catalogue for Automation Suppliers
Creation of a catalogue of requirements for suppliers. Together with the customer, the automation requirements were recorded and formulated in a document which is used in tenders and forms the basis for all procurers.
Requirements Catalogue for MES Replacement
In order to be able to evaluate a coherent overall MES package for the customer, the catalogue of requirements first had to be identified and drawn up. For this purpose, interviews were conducted with all involved departments of the customer and the requirements were transferred into a requirements specification.
