The core task of GLC is the provision and cleaning of recyclable containers for fruits and vegetables. A secondary task is the maintenance of pallets, for which we have automated an inspection system.
Automation of Pallet Conveyor and Sorting System
A system for conveying and sorting Euro pallets was implemented. In the process, stacks are fed in and separated in the system and conveyed further. At various stations, these are inspected from all sides (visual inspection with pushbutton), transported through the nail roller and on to the final moisture measuring system. Based on the information provided, the pallets are then sorted into four different conveyor areas and stacked again into piles.
