In addition to the production of charge powders and similar intermediate products, a deacidification plant for paper is operated in Wimmis. This makes a valuable contribution to the conservation of paper and written cultural assets.
Hardware Replacement Building Automation (Retrofit)
As part of the retrofit, the old Areadat PLC including control cabinets was replaced and equipped with a modern Siemens TIA Portal control system and a WinCC Professional control system. All sequences were newly implemented and optimized. The retrofit and commissioning took place in the summer maintenance window within 2 weeks.
