PLC and HMI for Magnetite Production Line
The plant was built in a new building next to the existing production plant and comprises several floors. The interfaces to the existing plant components were an important point, as tank storage and process water are used by both plants. After successful commissioning, the process was continuously optimized and further developed by the customer.
Extension of Remote Alarming
The existing alerting via SMS was replaced by an alerting via phone call so that an event can be detected and dealt with more quickly.
New PLC and HMI Development of Tank Farm
Since there were repeated problems with the existing tank farm concept, the tank farm was completely redesigned and reprogrammed from scratch. Deleproject's own framework for PLC (Siemens TIA) and HMI (zenon) was used.
Implementation Project According to Concept
After the concept phase with the design of the sequences, the sequences and functionalities were implemented and tested. Since this was a prototype system, various modifications were made during commissioning to optimize and accelerate the process. Deleproject's own framework for PLC (Siemens TIA) and HMI (zenon) was used.
Hardware and Design Mixing Tank Control
The hardware design and functionalities of the mixing tank in the tank farm area were developed with this engineering project. The aim of the mixing tank is to premix the product directly from the tanks of the tank farm before the product is loaded into the truck.
Sequence Conversion Due to Tank Rebuild
Due to a new management of tank B05, the affected sequences were adapted so that the new functionalities of the new tank B08 are executed correctly.
Redesign Dissolving Tank and Reactor Control
As part of the renewal of the production environment, the functions for the dissolving tank and the reactors were redesigned based on the customer's requirements.
Optimizations Tank Storage Management
The functions at the existing tank farm as well as the truck loading were optimized for a faster management of the tank farm.
