Nestlé Dubai Manufacturing LCC, Dubai VAE

We have been involved in various projects at the Nestlé factory in Dubai for several years. We started with the dosing and mixing process for infant milk powder, which was a standardised new development at the time. Later, several complete mixing lines followed and, as a consequence, one or the other additional project with smaller extensions and conversions.

Line 2 Foreign Body Protection

The existing mixer line 2 was equipped with a vibrating sieve and magnet at its outlet to remove foreign bodies. All documents and applications of the previously newly implemented line were added. The electrical cabinets were converted by local specialists and commissioning was carried out via remote connection.

Line 1 Extension

For an existing powder mixing line, the complete feeding of the basic powder with tipping stations, hygienic feeding and powder conveying was redone. The mixing section was supplemented with an additional feeder including a pouring station.

Additional Tipping Station

An additional tipping station was installed for three existing powder mixing lines, which can supply all lines. In addition to the implementation of PLC and HMI, electrical cabinets were also expanded and the plant section was commissioned via remote connection.

Extension of Powder Mixing Lines

Three existing lines were expanded on the basis of the previously developed standard. On the one hand, the application of the dosing and mixing template should increase quality and product safety. On the other hand, the different lines with batch and continuous mixing operation are flexibly designed for a wide range of different products.

Standardised Dosing and Mixing Module

Based on specifications from the research and development centre and experience from previous applications, a standard module for powder dosing and mixing was developed. The focus was on product safety and efficient multiplication for the numerous follow-up projects.
